Martyr Abu Omar Bassam Hilal
🔺 Incident Details:
Bassam Hilal was directly targeted and shot by a sniper stationed in the tower facing the entrance of the Teachers' Housing complex.
The sniper belonged to the “General Security” and “Ministry of Defense” forces under the de facto authority, supported by tribal militias loyal to the Al-Jolani-led government.
As the victim attempted to flee, the extremist elements pursued him and fired four bullets into his chest and one into his eye, killing him instantly.
📌 Additional civilian martyrs were found in the same street, indicating a systematic sectarian campaign against unarmed civilians:
* Abu Mudhar Ghalib Abu Fakher – retired colonel
* Abu Al-Noor Al-Ashqar (first name unknown, family name: Al-Ashqar)
