Members of the “General Security” and the so-called “Syrian Ministry of Defense” under the de facto authority stormed the home of a Druze civilian, violating the sanctity of private property and committing acts of intimidation and humiliation against unarmed innocent,
civilians — including an elderly man whose mustache was shaved off in a degrading manner.
During the filming of this crime, one of them is heard saying:
“You are infidels, and we’re shaving you in the way of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.”
These actions reflect systematic sectarian violations carried out under the name of state institutions. They constitute clear #hate_crimes and may amount to #crimes_against_humanity.
