البيانات وجهت نداءات إلى أهل الشام، داعية إياهم إلى ما أسموه “الجهاد الأكبر” ضد المسيحيين في المنطقة، بهدف “تطهير” أرض الشام وإعادتها إلى ما وصفوه بالهوية الأموية. استهلت البيانات بالاستشهاد بعبارات تحريضية، حيث دعت إلى قتل المسيحيين، المشار إليهم بـ”عبدة الصليب”، دون تمييز بين كبير أو صغير، وحثت على استخدام العنف الشديد ضدهم، بما في ذلك حرق أجسادهم وتدمير بيوتهم و كنائسهم و سيي نسائهم.
The statements issued direct appeals to the people of al-Sham, urging them to engage in what was described as the “Greater Jihad” against Christians in the region, with the declared goal of “cleansing” the land and restoring what they referred to as its “Umayyad identity.”
These messages opened with inflammatory language, calling explicitly for the killing of Christians—labeled as “worshippers of the cross”—without distinction between young and old. They also incited the use of extreme violence, including burning bodies, destroying homes and churches, and enslaving women.
