🔴▶️ Eyewitness Account from Alawite Village of Al-Barjan
A witness recounted a chilling incident:
While two brothers, Amer and Bihes Amon, were harvesting grape leaves on their land, a member of the de facto authority’s “General Security” (internal police) approached and demanded a “donation.”
The brothers jokingly suggested he could help harvest as a form of charity. One of them even asked his wife to prepare coffee for the visitor.
Moments later, the officer opened fire on Amer, killing him on the spot. When Bihes shouted, “May God not forgive you—you killed my brother!”, the officer shot him too.
A third brother rushed out upon hearing gunfire. When he asked what had happened, the officer reportedly replied:
“I killed dogs.”
Then, he calmly walked back to the checkpoint.
