🕊️ Appearing visibly anguished, the bishop spoke with striking clarity and fury, casting harsh criticism on those in power:
“None of our youth have been spared from prison — not one!
We had an agreement with Sheikh Abu Mohammad to organize property affairs, but nothing has been done. I submitted dozens of requests — not a single one was answered.
All I see is Sheikh This and Sheikh That. In a true state, there is no such thing as ‘Sheikh’ in power. Either we have a real state, or we all open up shop and fend for ourselves!”
“You give birth to twenty children — we may have only one or two.
What am I supposed to do with this devastation?
How can I begin to heal these wounds?
