تواصل قوات “الأمن العام” التابعة لوزارة الدفاع تنفذ هجمات ممنهجة على أحياء يسكنها أبناء الطائفة الدرزية الموحدين في مدينة أشرفية صحنايا، باستخدام أسلحة خفيفة ومتوسطة ضمن مناطق سكنية مكتظة. ويُعد هذا الاستهداف، القائم على خلفية الانتماء الطائفي، جريمة تمييز عنصري تُجرّمها اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري والقانون الدولي الإنساني.
“General Security” forces under the Ministry of Defense are carrying out systematic attacks targeting neighborhoods inhabited by members of the Druze Unitarian community in Ashrafieh Sahnaya, using light and medium weapons in densely populated areas. This sectarian-based targeting constitutes an act of racial and religious discrimination prohibited under the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and International Humanitarian Law.
