في استمرار لوتيرة الانتهاكات بحق المسيحيين في سوريا، تعرضت كنيسة مار جرجس في بلدة بلودان بريف دمشق، صباح اليوم الأحد، لاعتداء جديد أثار حالة من القلق والاستياء في أوساط الأهالي.
وذكرت مصادر محلية أن مجهولين أقدموا على تحطيم زجاج الكنيسة، في وقت عُثر فيه على قنبلتين يدويتين غير منفجرتين موضعتا بشكل متعمد على مقاعد المصلين داخل الكنيسة، وذلك قبيل بدء القداس الإلهي

In yet another disturbing episode of targeted violations against Syria’s Christian community,
St. George Church in the town of Bloudan, Rural Damascus, was attacked early Sunday morning—sparking fear and outrage among locals.
According to local sources, unknown assailants smashed the church’s windows. Even more alarming, two unexploded hand grenades were deliberately placed on the pews, just moments before the Sunday liturgy was to begin.
