انتشرت في دمشق مؤخرًا أسماء محلات تجارية جديدة تحمل تسميات مثل “المهاجرين” و”الأنصار”، ما أثار القلق حول محاولة تطبيع وتسويق رموز ترتبط بجماعات متطرفة ارهابية لغسل الأدمغة.

A recent trend has emerged in Damascus where new businesses have adopted names like “Al-Muhajiroun” and “Al-Ansar.” This has sparked concern over a possible effort to normalize and market symbols long associated with extremist groups—an attempt at ideological whitewashing.
▪️ “Muhajiroun” today refers to foreign fighters—outsiders who cross borders to join armed terrorist groups under the guise of “jihad,” while in reality, they push sectarian violence and bloodshed on lands that are not theirs. Simply put: wolves in sheep’s clothing.
▪️ “Ansar” now describes local enablers—those who offer shelter or logistical support to these militants. Whether knowingly or not, they help turn civilian neighborhoods into battlegrounds.
