قام أحد عناصر الهيئة بنشر مقطع فيديو عبر حسابه على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي يوثق اعتقاله لشخص مسن من مدينة حمص، مرفقًا بتعليق مهين للغاية. المعتقل تعرض للتعذيب الجسدي والإهانة، وكل ذلك دون وجود أي أدلة تُثبت التهمة الموجهة إليه، والتي كانت جاهزة مسبقًا تحت مسمى “شبيح”. مصير المعتقل لا يزال مجهولًا، وكل ذلك يتم على أساس طائفي، كما يظهر في الفيديو.

An HTS member posted a video on social media showing the arrest of an elderly man from Homs, accompanied by deeply offensive remarks. The detainee was subjected to physical torture and humiliation, all without any evidence to back the pre-made accusation of being a “Shabih.” His fate remains unknown, with the video exposing the sectarian motives behind the incident.
