The current events unfolding in Banias come in the wake of large convoys from Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) entering the area, armed with advanced weaponry under the pretext of pursuing remnants of the regime. ⚠️ Tragically, the real and ongoing victims are unarmed civilians, who have no connection to any past or present conflicts.
